Camp Hinds
On December 11, 2009 we left Bolton around 4:30 pm headed to Pine Tree Council’s Camp Hinds in Raymond, Maine for our December campout. We reached the cabin between 7 and 8 pm (there were five separate cars driving up) and set up camp for the night.
We stayed at Cadigan Cabin for two nights. The fire marshall for the trip (Mr. Crowley) had a roaring fire going in the wood stove in no time at all. The fire kept the cabin warm and toasty the entire time we were at camp. We even cooked dinner on the wood stove on the second night.
The weather conditions were perfect for a nice hike up Pleasant Mountain on Saturday. We started the climb just before noon and reached the summit at 2006 feet. We were back at the starting point by 4:15pm. We were tired and exhasuted after the hike but had a great time.
We returned home on Sunday morning after breakfast. Below are some pictures from this trip.
